About the Project

Holy Family Catholic Church of Lawton, with its 50-year-old concrete tile roofing system, required a significant overhaul following storm damage. The original roofing tiles, while iconic, were no longer widely available due to their age. After extensive collaboration with the insurance company to source matching tiles, it became clear that a full roof replacement was the best solution due to the unavailability of the existing tiles. This decision allowed for a complete revitalization of the church’s large campus, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and structural integrity.

The new roof installation featured high-quality, specialty underlayment to provide advanced protection and durability. We also installed raised battens, which improved ventilation and water drainage beneath the tiles, helping to extend the roof’s lifespan. One of the key highlights of this project was the hand-mixed tile blend, custom-crafted to replicate the appearance of the original roof while offering a modern, visually striking finish that complemented the church’s architecture beautifully.

In addition to the roofing work, we incorporated custom metal details throughout the structure, ensuring every aspect of the design was cohesive and finely crafted. New guttering was also installed to improve water management and protect the building from future weather-related wear and tear. The result is a stunning transformation that not only preserves the church’s historical charm but also provides long-lasting protection for one of Lawton’s most beloved institutions.
