Roof System, Guttering, Plywood
This church previously had an aging cedar shake roof, allowing interior water damage across the church campus. We removed the cedar shakes and installed a new plywood substrate on all buildings of the structure. Once the new substrate was installed, we layered on a synthetic felt paper and a Certainteed Presidential Shake asphalt shingle. This combination provided the church the look of wood shakes but with the durability and hail resistance of a modern shingle.
