About the Project
The Boise City School's auditorium roof had been ripped off during a severe windstorm. Emergency temporary repairs were made to the roof to mitigate any further damage. After commencing the permanent replacement of the roof, installation errors and defects in the roof deck were discovered. The roof was torn off down to the roof deck, which was rusted though in many areas. These sections of bad decking were properly replaced, and the roof was installed with enough insulation to exceed building code requirements. The new foam roof was then applied, and a hail impact resistant coating was added to give the building enhanced protection from the elements.
